NOTES
The cemetery occupied a huge territory between Drahomanova, Sahaydachnogo, Skovorody and Kotlyarevs’koho streets. An old part was founded in XVII cemetery and was located adjacent to modern Drahomanova street. In late XVIII century a new part was opened, occupying an elongated plot of land between Sahaydachnoho and Kotlyarevs’koho streets. The cemetery was hardly damaged during WWII, when Nazi authorities used the tombstones as street pavement. In 1960s the cemetery was demolished. The Haharina public park, school #2, cinema and residential houses were built on its territory. In 1999 an ohel of Shlomo Karliner was rebuilt. Later a memorial of Jewish cemetery was constructed on the site.
