The ESJF European Jewish Cemeteries Initiative mourns the recent passing of Rabbi Avraham Chaim Ginsberg z”l.

For many years, Rabbi Ginsberg contributed immensely to the preservation of Jewish cemeteries through his role as Executive Director at the Committee for the Preservation of Jewish Cemeteries in Europe (CPJCE). By conducting Rabbinical surveys, providing advice and cooperating with local and national authorities, Rabbi Ginsberg has played a vital role in the ESJF’s work from the beginning.

We are deeply saddened by this loss. May his memory be for a blessing.
